Roasted chickpeas is a healthy snack that satisfies your craving for junky munchy without added calories. I usually keep a container of this in my office for that mid afternoon junk food craving. Low calorie and satisfying.
This recipe is a no brainer. All you have to do is open a can of chickpeas and sprinkle salt and a drizzle of olive oil. Bake it at 400 and remove, then sprinkle some lemon pepper and you have crunchy munchy chickpeas.
1 can of chickpeas or 1 cup boiled chickpeas
1 tsp of olive oil
Salt to taste
1 tsp of lemon pepper
1 Pre heat oven to 400 F.Drain the chickpeas and dry it on a towel.
2 Coat the chickpeas with salt and spread it on a baking tray.
3 Bake in the oven at 400F for 40 mins stirring once or twice .
4 Once done sprinkle lemon pepper immediately and toss. Once cooled store in air-tight container and munch on.
